Kevin posted up last night in his game and in this somewhat blurry jump shot taken with my phone it makes me smile. All last year he wore all black shoes and to the eye or at least my eye his feet seemed to trudge along like dead weight. And I was exhausted in the stands mentally trying to speed him along! I kept telling him he needed a lighter shoe color and even if he wasn’t jumping higher or running faster it sure would look like he was. So this season he is proudly wearing Cole’s white basketball shoes from last year…and I AM more relaxed watching because of it! I don’t know much basketball even though I’ve pretty much been surrounded by it my entire life but I know in my head the light color shoes work….(He is to the left of the ref)
