Morning Texts

This page is for finally having a “prayer journal” that I will not lose! Also to share how the LORD speaks to my heart in my daily devotions. I always pray for you but I may not always journal it. And especially to Caleigh who does not even get the morning texts because she has no cell phone.

Pray either of these verses before reading His word and He will show you wondrous things and will guide you in your reading:
Psalms 119:18 “Open thou mine eyes, that I might behold wondrous things out of thy law.”
Psalms 119:133 “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.”

This page is starting to get quirky! It sends me to the entire bottom of the page when I so much as touch one character or return at first so it may be time to call this page full! It has been a great place to store prayer texts I send but do know you each have them everyday and I love that you are now sending me back how He is speaking to you in your devotions! I might start a page of yalls thoughts to me!

Father, I pray that You grant Keith, Tiffany, Cole, Kevin, and Caleigh’s heart’s desires and make all their plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of their victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all their prayers. From Psalm 20:4-5 (NLT) that was my Moms In prayer verse that is sent to me daily to pray for you each morning. I kept forgetting to send it yesterday. But I loved it so now you know:) I Love You and know He has even greater plans for you than you can imagine:)

April 9, 2012
As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day. (Genesis 50:20 AMP) I cannot ever read this verse and not pray it for you because of how telling it is. So many times we think we are not in His will when things go bad but Joseph’s life will forever be a reminder that people are out to do bad to you for no other reason than to do bad things to you but God turns their evil into good:) I Love You!

April 7, 2012
So he sent his brothers away, and they departed, and he said to them, See that you do not disagree (get excited, quarrel) along the road. (Genesis 45:24 AMP) How about that! A road trip verse! I love it! Prepare to hear it on our next journey:) I Love You!

April 6, 2012
And Joseph called the firstborn Manasseh [making to forget] For God, said he, has made me forget all my toil and hardship and all my father’s house. And the second he called Ephraim [to be fruitful], For [he said] God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction. (Genesis 41:51, 52 AMP) I pray that if you ever do find yourself going through as tough a times as Joseph you will be like his example and know that God will bless you so much that like Joseph will allow you to forget all your tool and hardship and bring fruit in your life right where you are being afflicted ! Pretty good! I Love You!

March 28, 2012
“Then let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make there an altar to God Who answered me in the day of my distress and was with me wherever I
went. (Genesis 35:3 AMP)” Jacob made sure to remember God and what He did for him. I pray that you honor Him in your life. Remember He is with you wherever you go! I Love You!!

March 22, 2012
Looking back I’m seeing another thought I thought I sent. It is based on Gen 28. Jacobs ladder dream. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. (Genesis 28:15, 16 KJV) I have a footnote that states: when Jacob found God in his own heart he found Him everywhere. I am praying you know and find Him everywhere. Keep Him first in your life:) I Love You!

March 21, 2012
And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me? (Genesis 27:46 KJV) funny verse huh! Been thinking of not sending it a month! So I’m sending it already! And we pray that when you choose your future spouse. It will be the perfect match. And of course one that will not grieve your parents! Because in her words…what good would our life be! I Love you!

February 14, 2012
“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: (Colossians 3:3-10 KJV)” Just how my Bible study this week couples why dad said watch the movie w clear play:) are we putting Him on every day? Happy Valentines Day!! I Love You!

February 1, 2012
“Did not the man tell me, She is my sister? And she herself said, He is my brother. In integrity of heart and innocency of hands I have done this. Then God said to him in the dream, Yes, I know you did this in the integrity of your heart, for it was I Who kept you back and spared you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not give you occasion to touch her. (Genesis 20:5, 6 AMP)” What a question to be asking ourselves: am I doing all with integrity of heart and innocency of hands? I pray you are ever mindful to be doing so. I Love You!

Moms in Prayer I asked the LORD when you cry out to Him because of your oppressors, to please send you a savior and defender and rescue you. From Isaiah 19:20b

January 30, 2012
Moms In Prayer I asked the LORD to help you understand that friendship with the world is hatred toward God. May you not choose to be a friend of the world. From James 4:4

January 25, 2012
“And the Angel of the Lord continued, See now, you are with child and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael [God hears], because the Lord has heard and paid attention to your affliction. (Genesis 16:11 AMP)” What a wonderful word:) Hagar, Sarah’s handmaiden, discouraged and running. She was stopped in her tracks by the angel of the Lord! He reminded her that He hears and cares and my thought is He even sent an angel to keep her on the right path. “Oh nuh huh Hagar! He does have a purpose and plan for your life! If you run look out:) He just may send an angel to get you back on track–or has He already?'”!?” I Love You!!!

Most of the week between these posts my online cut and paste Bible kept giving me “null.” I should have taken the time to post anyway. I will put some verses below that I know I prayed over you just never sent:)

Moms in Prayer formerly Moms In Touch prayer verses:
I prayed may Tiffany,Cole, Kevin and Caleigh be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. From Romans 12:12

May Tiffany, Cole, Kevin and Caleigh not be afraid because you are with them. May they not be dismayed for you are their God. Strengthen them. Help them. Uphold them with your victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Since you are Tiffany, Cole, Kevin, and Caleigh’s rock and fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide each one of them. Psalm 31:3

January 13, 2012
“For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. (1 Corinthians 10:13 AMP)” I told you I have been reading the amplified version. Who knew how wordy it was! And I don’t need wordy! Anyway I prayed this verse out loud over you yesterday at Moms in Prayer. (use to be called Moms in Touch)Love this verse! I Love You!

January 4, 2012
“And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us [the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguish between] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever– (Genesis 3:22 AMP)” My thought I pondered all yesterday about this is how this sentence is left unfinished and we are to fill in the rest. I haven’t used that technique to great lately around here! Lol! But He put them out of the garden because He didn’t want them living forever in their fallen/sinful state. So when we are at are worst(!) He still loves us the most! I Love You and am praying for you!!

January 2, 2012
“And in the course of time Cain brought to the Lord an offering of the fruit of the ground. And Abel brought of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat portions. And the Lord had respect and regard for Abel and for his offering, But for Cain and his offering He had no respect or regard. So Cain was exceedingly angry and indignant, and he looked sad and depressed. (Genesis 4:3-5 AMP)” I will type the footnote in my Bible: “in bringing the offering he did, Cain denied that he was a sinful creature…He insisted on approaching God on the ground of personal worthiness. Instead of accepting God’s way, he offered to God the fruits of the ground WHICH GOD HAD CURSED. He presented the product of his own toil, the work of his own hands, and God refused to receive it.” I am praying you don’t ever go the way of Cain:) It was an insightful footnote. I Love You!

I am starting another year and know my heart is still searching His word to hear from Him and driving me to pray for you in doing so. In reflection I asked myself what is my favorite verse and many came to mind but I will quote the one that truly describes my walk with Him and continued prayer life for each of you: “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13 KJV)” I am searching for Him daily in the Bible and lifting you up in prayer and it is my prayer that 2012 will have you doing the same. I finished the One Year Bible and have chosen to read my parallel Bible this year that is KJV with the Amplified side by side in columns. I pray you find time each day to curl up with His book. I Love You!

Also I want to paste below here my first Pastor’s Morning Meditation on answered prayer I just received in an email. I get them everyday and they are filled with great truths. I got my idea to send morning texts from his meditations. And you thought my texts were long!
From Bro. White:
“ANSWERED PRAYER
Acts 3:1-10
Morning Meditation
“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.”

Answered prayer brings praying out of the realm of dry, dead things, and makes praying a thing of life and power. It is the answer to prayer that brings things to pass, changes the natural trend of things, and orders all things according to the will of God. It is the answer to prayer that takes praying out of the regions of fanaticism, and saves it from being utopian, or from being merely fanciful. It is the answer to prayer that makes praying a power for God and for man, and makes praying real and divine. Unanswered prayers are training schools for unbelief, and imposition and a nuisance, an impertinence to God and to man.

Answers to prayer are the only surety that we have prayed aright. What marvelous power there is in prayer! What untold miracles it works in this world! What untold benefits to men does it secure to those who pray! Why is it that the average prayer goes begging for an answer?

The millions of unanswered prayers are not to be solved by the mystery of God’s will. We are not the sport of His sovereign power. He is not playing at “make believe” in His marvelous promises to answer prayer. The whole explanation is found in our wrong praying. We ask and do not receive because we ask amiss (See James 4:3). If all unanswered prayers were dumped into the ocean, they would come very near filling it.

Can we pray so as to get an answer? Are our prayers answered? If not, why not? Answered prayer is the proof of our real praying.

To get unquestioned answers to prayer is not only important as to the satisfying of our desires, but is the evidence of our abiding in Christ. Thus, it becomes more important still. The mere act of praying is no test of our relationship to God. The act of praying may be a dead performance. It may be the routine of habit. But to pray and receive clear answers, not once or twice, but daily, is the sure test and is the gracious point of our vital connection with Jesus Christ. Read our Lord’s words in this connection. He says in John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

Answers to prayer are the part of prayer that glorifies God. Unanswered prayers are dumb oracles that leave the praying ones in darkness, doubt, and bewilderment, and that carry no conviction to the unbeliever. It is not the act or the attitude of praying that gives efficacy to prayer. It is not abject prostration of the body before God, the vehement, or quiet utterance to God, or the exquisite beauty and poetry of the diction of our prayers that do the deed. It is not the marvelous array of argument and eloquence in praying that makes prayer effectual. Not one or all of these are the things that glorify God. It is the answer that brings glory to his name.

Answer to prayer is the convincing proof of our right relations to God. Jesus said at the grave of Lazarus, “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 11:41-42).

Faith teaches God’s praying ones that it is God’s will to answer prayer. God answers all prayers and every prayer of His children who truly pray.

Prayer makes darkened clouds withdraw,
Prayer climbs the ladder Jacob saw;
Gives exercise to faith and love,
Brings every blessing from above.

Prayer is divinely ordained as the means by which all temporal and spiritual good are directed to us. Prayer is not an end in itself. It is not something done to be rested in, not something we have done, about which we are to congratulate ourselves. It is a means to an end. It is something we do that brings us something in return, without which the praying is valueless. Prayer always aims at securing an answer.

Come, my soul, thy suit prepare,
Jesus loves to answer prayer;
He Himself has bid thee pray,
Therefore will not say thee nay.

May the Lord bless these words to our hearts.

In Christ

Bro. White”

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. (Psalm 147:3, 4 KJV)” And “For I am the Lord, I change not…(Malachi 3:6a)” He who numbers and names the stars will never change and will always take care of you:) And I lift you up to Him and trust His plan for your life:) I Love You!

December 27, 2011
“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: (Psalm 146:5, 6 KJV)” I am praying for you to be Happy! And I love that you will be as you have Him for all your help:) He keeps truth forever. You cannot go wrong here:) I Love You!

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. (Psalm 145:3, 4 KJV)” Every day this thought goes in my head…He is great and greatly to be praised:) But I am mostly praying you will praise and declare this for your generation:) I Love You!

December 25, 2011
“Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. (Revelation 15:4 KJV)” He is worthy and holy! All people who believe and love Him are worshipping and celebrating His son Jesus today on Christmas. I am praying for you this Christmas. Caleigh said she didn’t want today to end…does she ever? I love celebrating Christmas with you. I am praying you each have your own God given family in the future to continue to keep the traditions He has put on mine and dad’s heart. I Love You! Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2011
“Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. (Zechariah 3:7 KJV)” I’m at the end of the year of my Bible reading and am still jumping for joy in my heart that a verse like this pops up in Zechariah:) I am so praying for you that you will walk in His ways and keep His charge and His house and absolutely love that He will give you places to walk! I am praying for those places you will walk today and tomorrow. I pray you are always surrounded by those that stand with Him! His word says you will be:) Happy Christmas Eve! I Love You!!!

The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it. (Proverbs 30:17 KJV)

December 20, 2011
“Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. (Haggai 1:5 KJV)” paired with the later part of my days reading in Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23, 24 KJV)” and I would say He is speaking to me in these verses as a way to pray for you that you would consider your ways…always:) I Love You!

December 19, 2011
“Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger. (Zephaniah 2:3 KJV)” Seek Meek:) and this verse is in my thoughts: “There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. (Proverbs 30:12 KJV)” If you are seeking meekness then you will know according to His word what is clean in His eyes. How much I see those that think all they are doing is fine…yet in God’s eyes they are filthy. I am praying for you to stand out in your generation for purity and strength from the Lord:) I Love You!

December 18, 2011
“Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments. (Habakkuk 3:18, 19 KJV)”A prayer for strength for you that your feet will be strong and sure footed as well as safe:) I Love You!

December 17, 2011
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:5, 6 KJV)” This is a classic and take away the 0 and you have many peoples life verses. (Aka prov 3:5-6)A tid bit to remember where these verses are!! I pray you never doubt the purity of God’s word. And when you are trying to determine just what is pure you will turn to His word as your standard. He will shield you as you trust Him. I Love You!

December 16, 2011
“I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. (Psalm 130:5 KJV)” Seems like so often lately I am getting only my reading and praying in and not sending you the text:( I must be swamped! Here is one I meant to send earlier. I pray that you wait for Him and your hope is in His word not what is surrounding you now. Let it be Him you hope in:) I Love You!

December 15, 2011
“Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. (Micah 7:7 KJV)” It seems to be in every book a reminder as we read that He will hear. So look to Him and wait on Him:) I Love You!

“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. (Revelation 5:8 KJV)”

December 13, 2011
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (Revelation 4:11 KJV)” If ever you need a thought to praise Him for in your quiet time it is this. He is worthy to receive glory and honor and power:) Praise Him today! I Love You!

December 12, 2011
“Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. (Joel 2:12, 13 KJV)” This is exactly where I am this week. A somewhat weepy-mourning-rent-hearted mom! But am trusting Him through it all and praying you will too when you realize you have no real control:) I Love You!!

December 11, 2011
“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25 KJV)” The latter half of this verse takes me back to our Florida trip when Caleigh was 2. She kept repeating we think: he sank on the water…he safe! We will feel ourselves sinking many times on da water (!) but when we trust in Him we will be safe. Not feel safe. But will BE safe! I LoveYou!

December 6, 2011
“As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. (Psalm 125:2 KJV)” This should be a tune in your ears:) We sing it as a praise song but tonight I am praying it for you. Especially loving and trusting the thought that He has you surrounded always. No gps tracking device can do better than that:) I Love You!!!

December 5, 2011
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1 John 5:14, 15 KJV)” praying you have that assurance in Him and you follow His will for your life. I Love You!

December 4, 2011
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8 KJV)” I can hear Cole on this one giving it to Mam Maw! It’s the devil! Just thankful that God sent His son to die for each of us. Praying you praise Him this Christmas for taking our sin:) I Love You!

December 2, 2011
“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. (Daniel 10:12 KJV)” 2 things I know. 1 He listens. 2 Satan does not want you to think He does. “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days… (Daniel 10:13a KJV) So praying you will be like Daniel. I love you!!!!

November 30, 2011
“Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. (Psalm 119:173 KJV)” Also at MIT this week I prayed to Him as your defender, shield, help. He will help you as you chose to keep His word. I Love You Much!

November 29, 2011
“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. (Psalm 119:130 KJV)” I’m also in one of my favorite Psalms…119! It is filled with verses I connect with. I am praying you connect with this one and realize too that opening his word brings light or understanding and comprehension. It adds to the simple. You just have to be simply willing enough to open His word:) I love You!

November 27, 2011
“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. (Daniel 1:17 KJV)” I love that I am in Daniel! Love Daniel! I am praying He gives you knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom:) I Love You!

November 26, 2011
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: (1 Peter 3:8 KJV)” family verse? 🙂 also am remembering to pray Psalm 119:57 for you “Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words…” that you are remembering to read His word sometime in your day. I Love You!

November 23, 2011
“Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. (Psalm 119:27 KJV)” and “Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. (Psalm 119:33, 34 KJV) possible choices for family verses? But for sure I am praying these verses for you today: keep and understand His word to the end, talk of His wonderful ways, live it with your whole heart! I Love You!

November 21, 2011
“I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. (Psalm 119:16 KJV)” We need a family verse:) Submit a verse to me that you think is our family life verse. And I am praying that you are getting into His word and not forgetting to as this verse says. It is my desire for you more than you know that you stay in His word. I Love You!

November 14, 2011
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1, 2 KJV)” I have been praying the model prayer from Mat 6:9-13 since pastor has started that series but am hopping out today with these great verses! I am praying you have no weights to keep you from Him…He who took our sins joyfully and endured the cross. I Love You!

November 2, 2011
“Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: (Psalm 104:1-3 KJV)” I am praying you get to know who He is. I love how the psalms describes Him in these verses. I Love You!

November 1, 2011
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7 KJV)” I love this chapter and could totally send you it in its entirety! So I am praying that you learn to love chapters of His word and that you will not worry or fret but will tell all your requests to Him in a thankful attitude and find that wonderful peace. And I’m going to paste what the amplified version says of “peace”: “And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace]” I Love You! Peace out:)

October 31, 2011
I just also figured out how to copy and paste from my Moms In Touch sheet so will list the verse I prayed for you! So excited about that knowledge! “May you, as God’s chosen one, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (From Colossians 3:12)” I Love You! I have years and years of MIT hours but will go forward posting not backward and that is IF I remember too!

October 25, 2011
“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. (Psalm 73:26 KJV)” He is really all we need. One of my favorite attributes is the last half how He is our portion forever:) I Love You! (I waited to send this since cole had caleigh’s phone and I could just hear that text tone going off!)

October 24, 2011
“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. (Isaiah 64:4 KJV)” You just cannot know what God has for you but I am praying you do wait on the Lord and He will show you. And I’m especially praying that if you think you cannot wait through an issue you will be able to wait some more! I Love You!

I definitely prayed for you this week but it obvi never got texted or thoughted here:) I am in Isaiah and came across this special passage: “The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. (Isaiah 60:19 KJV)” When we were praying for His guidance to move to Alaska or not this was my peace in scripture green light. I am praying that you find peace through His word each day and especially when you are making big decisions. I Love You!

October 17, 2011
“And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders. (Deuteronomy 33:12 KJV)” I am tagging on Pastor’s beautiful image he spoke on last night. And I found it without even looking at my notes. He has you in his arms in a giant embrace:).I am praying you keep that image in your head! Just remember he called Dougie Josh then renamed him Benjamin! I am praying God’s blessing he gave to Benjamin here for you…I love you!

“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward. Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am… (Isaiah 58:8, 9a KJV)” I love that He is our rearward! Or rear guard. He’s got your back! I am praying that you stay healthy and know that He is ready to reply to your call:) I Love You!

October 13, 2011
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8, 9 KJV)” This is what I am praying for you as you step through each new challenge you face. We plan. He plans. Let’s remember to stay close to His plans:) I Love You!

October 12, 2011
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:13-18 KJV)” I saved this one just to post since it is a long passage. But this section of verses has been in my prayers since pastor taught us years ago using the outline of Matthew 6. I am praying Ephesians 6 for you always:) I Love You!

October 9, 2011
“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:16 KJV)” One version says “tattoo” for graven. So He has us stamped, written, engraved, tattooed…whatever word choice we are forever permanently ever before Him on the palms of His hands. Such a neat thought:) But do we have him forever on ours? I am praying we keep Him ever before us:) I Love You!

October 6, 2011
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (Ephesians 4:14, 15 KJV)” Here is what I know: there are so many “distractions” out there but I am praying you are not tossed around by those but grow up in Him in all things. Test them all against His standards. I Love You!

October 3, 2011
“God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. (Psalm 67:1 KJV)” I am asking for Him to bless you today and cause His face to shine upon you:) because His “cause” in you cannot help but shine through! I Love You!

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, (Ephesians 1:16-18 KJV)” This is one of my favorite intercessory prayers. I am praying you get to know Him and am so thankful for you! I Love You!!

Second thought:
Ps 64:1-10 (!) okay I won’t list the entire psalm but I challenge you to please read it. I spent time on it this week and it is the keep you from evil psalm and the I will fight your battles psalm:) and the LORD just spoke to me listing what is a battle I am taking on for each of you that I need to trust Him in. Caleigh–third grade struggles. Kevin–AIH. Cole–college apps and choice. Tiff–microbiology and anatomy 🙂 and nursing school app. I don’t need to take any of these on in fear because He will keep me from fearing the enemy. Ps 64:1&7 “Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy…. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. (Psalm 64:1, 7 KJV)” I Am Praying you give Him your battles. I couldn’t get this off my heart so am sending a second thought today:) but it was my weekly meditation:) I Love You!!!

First thought:
“Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. (Isaiah 38:5 KJV)” I think this is a beautiful picture of how He answers prayers. Be encouraged that He sees your tears. He’s been seeing a bunch of mine lately:) I Love You!

September 28, 2011
“Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. (Isaiah 34:16 KJV)” I was going to dot dot dot after fail but then I saw the “none shall!” So that should make you smile:) And I am praying that you are seeking His word to read:) I Love You!

September 27, 2011
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. (Psalm 27:14 KJV)” from my devotional “Jesus Calling”: ‘when your energy fails you, do not look inward and lament the lack you find there. Look to Me and My sufficiency; rejoice in My radiant riches that are abundantly available to help you….go gently through this day leaning on Me and enjoying My presence…'” I am praying strength for you and that you would step gently today knowing He is who you are leaning on. I Love You!

September 26, 2011
“I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be…I would they were even cut off which trouble you.” (Galatians 5:10, 12 KJV) I am praying that you will have confidence in the LORD which will keep you “otherwise minded.” That you will not be unsettled in your beliefs in knowing what is right and wrong. And boy those who even try to mislead will have their day:) I Love You!

September 25, 2011
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21 KJV) I am praying you will know the word of the LORD when you hear Him leading because I know you know! I Love You!

September 21, 2011
I fell asleep last night before sending this…Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. (Proverbs 23:19 KJV) in my Bible study at church I wrote in my notes that wisdom is knowing what God’s word says and doing it. Then my personal reading I saw this proverb. So I am praying that you will be wise and direct your heart to wisdom as well. I Love You!

September 17, 2011
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (Isaiah 26:3 KJV)” “Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalm 61:1, 2 KJV)” I hit the jackpot on this days reading and I’m not even giving you the great verse in this same section about line upon line and precept upon precept:) But you know the peace He brings when you keep your mind on Him. And He can help when you are overwhelmed…cry unto Him He will lead you back to Him. . .The strongest rock:) I Love You!

September 16, 2011
“Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. (Psalm 60:4 KJV)” This simple psalm brought up the memory of when i first was learning the different names of God: Jehovah–nissi I remembered it as I am your banner “And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah–nissi: (Exodus 17:15 KJV)” And I can trust when I cannot see Him clearly to just look for the flag waving high and am guided by that:) I am praying you know Him as your banner too:) I Love You!

September 15, 201
Psalm 59:9 “Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.” Yep! He is! Because we each need His strength a day at a time. Praying for His strength in your life today. I love you!

September 14, 2011
Galatians 1:24 “And they glorified God in me.” I just went over and over this verse seeing it in different translations and it’s neat to see Paul have others glorify God through him who use to persecute them for glorifying God. I am praying someone is glorifying God because of you. I Love You!

September 13, 2011
” I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. (2 Corinthians 7:16 KJV)” I am praying for you to have such confidence and above all to have and know the confidence he has in you. I Love You!

September 12, 2011
I sat up to read since I kept getting interrupted in the day today… Here are the verses that He blessed me with “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. (Psalm 56:3, 4 KJV)” Many times over the past weeks I have stayed positive only to be brought down by some crazy news or some test result that never before had I heard of but maybe let it consume me for a bit. Like while walking down to take the trash can out. Then I quickly realize I am being every bit afraid! And I just tell Him and trust Him with it. Yep, I have been somewhat beside myself in some moments and can honestly say I am praying for you when you are afraid to trust in Him. Because when I compare where I am when I am not to where I am when I am trusting Him–trusting is where you want to be. However He did say what time I am afraid so there is no doubt He acknowledges that it is a place you will find yourself:) I just ask that you trust Him when you find yourself afraid:) I Love You!!!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.” On this 10 year anniversary of our countries worst terror attack how befitting it is to see this verse. Kevin and I watched a documentary this morning about the 102 minutes that changed America and how many times we saw someone down only to be picked up again by even a stranger. How much lately I have been encouraged by hugs, visits, texts, and calls. It gives me strength to be lifted up and I pray you will be one looking to lift others as well as for Him to surround you with people who will lift you up when you need it. I Love You!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” I have read this over and over so much that it is tempting to skim it but it stopped me in my tracks…a time to heal. I am praying for healing for each of us even though we may not all be facing what Kevin is I believe He heals all things physical, emotional, and spiritual. Whether it’s your liver, your heart or your attitude I am praying for you to allow that time to heal! And it helps me with Kevin to know to give him time. Makeup work will have it’s time too:) I Love You!

2 Corinthians 5:13-14a “For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us;…” I cannot tell you how many times over the past 2 weeks that I have been “beside myself!” But do know He does constraineth or controls or compells or urges me onto better behavior! (you know I haven’t corrected a honker in over a year!) I am praying you feel His control in each step of your day. I Love You!

I often wonder in our conversations with God if bits and pieces are “overheard” if you will, by others speaking to Him as if we are in a crowd and can pick up bits and pieces of conversations around us not enough to participate in or fully understand but enough to trigger your thoughts one way. Maybe as I talk to Him and each of you are He impresses on our hearts as if we were hearing in a crowded room…someone to pray for:) I want to copy below from a godly friend in another state I’m only in touch with here and there but who knew nothing of our life the past 2 weeks and on the very day of Kevin’s biopsy sent me this…
“You have been on my mind for several days. I have thought of calling you but time seems to get away from me. I woke up and was wide awake…decided to check up on your via FB. I am so sad and my heart is heavy for Kevin, you, Keith…your family. I know God was wanting me to start praying. I am praying for the precious healing blood of Jesus to cover Kevin inside and out…from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. Comfort and strength for you and Keith. Wisdom and discernment for his doctors and anyone who has any decision making over Kevin. Let me know if you need anything.”

September 7, 2011
Job 42:10 “And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” He blesses those who pray for their friends:) I am praying that you are an encourager to those around you:) I Love You!

September 6, 2011
Psalm 44:20-21 “If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.” I am reminded by Caleigh from backseat conversations over and over how easy this truth is forgotten. I usually will say but who sees everything?:) Then she will reword whatever it was quickly. I’ve heard before you are who you are when no one is watching and am praying when you think no one is you will remember that really Someone is:) I Love You!

September 5, 2011
Psalm 42:5 “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” He does give us strength. It has been easy lately to get “disquieted” but what’s even more amazing is how much easier it is to get –mom word here–undisquieted! I am praying that He keeps you undisquieted too…His very countenance does:) I Love You!!

September 4, 2011
This thought also sent from a friend after a visit has been precious to me:) “I hope Kevin has a great day. I know you will look back thankful for these PRECIOUS days with your 3rd kiddo….I can’t even imagine how much love he feels from you…snuggled next to him on the couch. GREAT picture of how God comes and sits near to us EVERY DAY….waiting for us to call on Him and tell him our needs….LOVE that. THAT is what I kept thinking about after we left. God is “on the couch” with my friend and her family…available, anticipating their needs and meeting them.” I know we joked through much of these days how jealous we are of Kevin! No school, waited on, computer time, no real schedule! But to see each of you spend couch time with kevy in whatever way you could and without even being asked to but out of the love of your heart has shown me Jesus on your heart on that couch:)

I am so touched by the genuine concern others have for us and Kevin that I will continue to sprinkle on this page some of what I am encouraged by this one through email:
““He who dwells in the shelter of the Most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Pslm 91:1
Almighty God, Most High,
Yes. I often forget that You are Lord, God above all gods. Today, I will lay all my concerns for Kevin before You, but I will not forget who You are, the Most High, the Almighty One (v.1)
That is why I can pray now with confident hope.
Because of who You are, deliver Kevin from fears, from harm at night, from snares of all kinds, from injury and illness (v. 3-6)
Because of who You are, command Your angels to guard my child, to lift him up, and carry him past this trouble. (v 11-12)
You, Lord, are his true home and eternal refuge. Yes, You will rescue my child. You have promised to protect, save, and honor us if we acknowledge who You really are – and trust You completely (v 14-15).
In Jesus Name. Amen”
(from Praying the Bible For Your Children by David and H eather Kopp)

September 2, 2011
…”that my joy is the joy of you all.” (2 Corinthians 2:3 KJV) This verse popped out at me and it does capture my feelings for you. And how true that my joy is the joy of you all:) I Love You!

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 KJV) How especially perfect to call on the God of all comfort when Kevin is at his most uncomfortable:) I continue to call on our God who heals and brings comfort to you. I love you!

August 31, 2011
Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.(Psalm 40:5 KJV) Don’t forget how much He thinks of you if you tried to count them it would not be possible. Especially remember this when all is not going as planned:) I love you!

August 30, 2011
“…declare over him…no beggn on this side of the cross. Stand on the word of healing. I lv u” We are surrounded by prayer warriors and it brings strength:)

August 29, 2011
“Hi Friend,
How’s the patient? We prayed for a restful night and relief from pain. Have you had any of your questions answered yet?” This one was nice to see because it was the first night he did get good sleep so it was an answer to prayer:)

August 28, 2011
“Praising God for TCH, medical insurance, and Gods perfect timing!! We know He is the Ultimate Healer and i am standing with you asking the Lord for continued healing, good doctors and information, and Kevin to be painfree and worry free!!”

August 27, 2011
I want to put the verses from texts and emails that I looked at during Kevin’s time in the hospital. Praying for you! Remember: The name of the Lord is a Strong tower the righteous run into it and is safe! A verse from Proverbs.

August 26, 2011
Philippians 4:4-6 “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Pastor Pope gave us these verses today and it really touched me because I know how I am handling all of the stuff going on with Kevin. And at times it just overwhelms me i think thats a good description and normally I can snap out if it but it is a different kind of “being careful for nothing” than I have ever personally known. So I love that His word reminds us to be careful for nothing as Pastor said to us today. And I am praying for you that you will not be anxious or looking around about what you can worry about but be quick to give it to Him…I Love You!

August 25, 2011
Today I prayed a prayer a sweet friend sent me since Kevin was recovering from his emergency surgery at Tomball. I also read this as I rode in the ambulance with you:
Texas Children’s is the best place on earth to be……

Lord, because you have instructed us in Your Word that we are to pray for one another so that we may be healed, I pray for healing and wholeness for Kevin. I pray that sickness and infirmity will have no place or power in his life. I pray for protection against any disease in his body. Your Word says, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Ps 107:20). Wherever there is disease, illness, or infirmity in his body, I pray that You, Lord, would touch him with your healing power and restore him to total health.

Deliver Kevin from any destruction, disease, or injury that would come upon him. Specifically, I ask you to heal his liver and heal him from his recent surgery. As they see the doctors, I pray that You, Lord, would show them the right caregiver and appoint the right team to care for Kevin. Give the doctors, nurses, lab techs, admissions desk, volunteers, and his parents perfect wisdom and full knowledge of the best way to proceed. Help them recognize an accurate diagnosis. Let there be no confusion and perfect timing.

Thank you, Lord, that you suffered and died for us so that we might be healed. We lay claim to that heritage of healing which you have promised in Your Word and provided for those who believe. We look to You for Kevin’s healing and wholeness.

Be with Beth and Keith as they make decisions. Give them courage, calm, peace, comfort, and unity. Surround them with people who will support them….whether in person or through intercession. Fill their hearts up FULL with your Holy Spirit…who will guide, protect, and comfort them.
(adapted from Stormie O’Martin’s prayer for health and healing in the Power of a Praying Parent)

Job 13:27 “Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.” A reminder we have with us always that we are His creation just look at your heel and finger prints…He set those there created uniquely for you to show Him as our master and designer. I pray you remember He made you and has a plan for your life and does look narrowly on your path:) I Love You!

August 23, 2011
Psalm 38:9 “Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.”and Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” I am praying the He delights you this week that He shows himself mighty in your behalf and that because He knows your desires before you even do that He will work all things out for your good:) I Love You!

August 22, 2011
Job 5:8, 9 “I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number.” and 1Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.” Great first day of school verses:) I am committing your year unto Him and praying that you know how great a things He does for you! Unsearchable and marvelous:) and of course that this year would be “organized”:) I Love You!

August 21, 2001
Job 1:10 “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” Satan talking to God about Job. There is a hedge about Job put there by Him. For this new school year I am praying a hedge about you and that God’s hands will protect you. I Love You!

August 20, 2011
1 Corinthians 13:7 “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” Here I am back in Bossier and am reading the first chapter in the Bible I remember Him truly speaking to me from:) I think this verse is a good description of love and the love He shows us through a family’s love…who else would bear, believe, hope, and endure with us so tenaciously as a good Godly family;) I Love My Family:)

August 19, 2011
Proverbs 21:21 “He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.” I love how simple and yet deep the verses from Proverbs are. Simple formula: follow what is right and and be kind and merciful along the way = honor and a right life found. Follow what is wrong and unkind and unmerciful = living wrong with dishonor:( I am praying you seek what is right and live in a way to honor Him:) I Love You!

August 18, 2011
I Corinthians 11:34″… And the rest will I set in order when I come.” This is right after it is mentioned to examine yourselves and to judge yourselves. I’m remembering the conversation the other night how scared y’all are about our door chime cause I’m coming in yelling! Can you even imagine not being ready to face Him when He returns to set things in order! I pray you are keeping things in order and examining yourself. I Love You!

August 17, 2011
Psalm 35:1 “Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.” A great prayer in this psalm:) He will be for you with those that are fir you and He will fight against those that are against you! All you have to do is ask Him to “plead your cause!” I Love You!

August 16, 2011
Psalm 34:3 “O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” At the funeral of Joe Adams today in a testimony to Him this psalm was mentioned as He spoke to Beverly and Joe previously using it in what they called the psalm 34 week. Everyday that week He brought them somehow to this passage. How precious to me that it is in my reading yesterday and today as well. I know summer is nearing it’s end and I want us in all the different places we will be once school starts to exalt His name together! All the more reason to read your Bible and pray and share with each other how good He is! I Love You!

August 15, 2011
1 Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” I am praying you embrace this verse for all it means; it is precious:) I Love You!

August 14, 2011
Nehemiah 8:8, 9 “So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.” I am seeing how precious His word is. Nehemiah and the priests had to tell them not to mourn but the insight is that all of the people wept when they heard it. I am praying that His word will always be tender towards you. I Love You!

August 13, 2011
Nehemiah 6:8, 9 “Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart. For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.” There will just be times in your life when like in Nehemiah’s people will go against the work you are trying to do for Him for no other reason than to be against it. I pray you will do like Nehemiah and ask Him to strengthen your hands:) I Love You!

August 12, 2011
Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” He guides us with His eyes only when we keep ours on Him! Kind of like when you are using a gps and miss a turn. The highlighted line keeps going and you realize you are not on the right path. It recalculates over and over but just think if we would just keep our eyes on the LORD there would be a lot less “recalculating!” I am praying you keep your eyes on Him! I Love You!

August 11, 2011
Psalm 31:24 “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.” There will come many times in your life that your own encouraging in the Lord will be required. There will be no one else around but you and He will strengthen your heart because you hoped in Him:) I do pray you will always know to look to Him for strength especially when you are surrounded by unbelievers or those not walking with Him correctly. I Love You!

August 10, 2011
I Corinthians 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” This connects with how we think everything is right in our own eyes. But He lives in us:) I am praying you will be ever mindful of this:) I Love You!

Proverbs 21:1-2 “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.” He has your heart in His hand and is putting you where you need to be like the way water twists and turns in a river. I am praying you look beyond your way that seems right to you and let Him place you. I Love You!

1 Corinthians 4:10 “We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.” Those around who do not know Him think we are fools for serving Him. He makes us strong. They will never understand until they embrace Him that it is an honor to serve Him. I pray that those around you are seeing how you are honoring Him:) I Love You!

Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” Ever feel like you are being searched!? It’s like He knows us and our spirit is His flashlight. I am praying that when He shines His light around in you that you bring Him glory by cleaning up that which He points out ever so quickly:) I Love You!

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” And Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: thereforeThe Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
I love love love that it cannot enter into our heart nor can we imagine the things God has prepared to those who live Him:) I pray you let Him be your strength and shield for in so doing He will help you and you will rejoice! Aka “be so happy!” I Love You!

August 5, 2011
Psalm 27:11 “Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path,…” I pray for Him to show you His ways in a plain path. He let’s me see this word “plain” and I pray you see it is so simple when He is teaching you His ways. It only gets difficult when we step off of His plain path. I Love You!

August 4, 2011
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. (Psalm 27:1, 3 KJV). I am praying that you would find your strength in Him and He would be the strength of your life. May you find such confidence in this:) I Love You!

Romans 16:19 “For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.” And the old testament thought as I’m reading in II Chronicles 34 comes from the life of King Josiah who was 8 when he began to reign and it says at age 16 unlike those just before him he sought the LORD and at 20 he purged the land of idolatry:) He didn’t have immediate good examples yet he sought the LORD and encouraged those around him to do right! I am praying you will be wise concerning good and simple concerning evil…not have anything to do with it! I Love You!

August 1-2, 2011
Romans 14:19 “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” Romans 15:2 “Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.” Totally been getting 2 days of the same theme:) I am praying that you look to others thinking how can I lift them up even if and when they may be tearing you down. Be the one willing to take that step back:) I Love You!

July 31, 2011
3 John 4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. I shared this verse last week with my Sunday school class and we decided it is every parents prayer:) I am praying you walk in truth:) I Love You!

July 28, 2011
Romans 11:33 “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” I am praying that you do trust Him with your decisions. Lean on His wisdom and knowledge and guidance. I Love You!

July 27, 2011
II Chronicles 20:12 “O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.” I love how often verses like these are sprinkled throughout scripture! It’s ok when you don’t know what to do as long as your eyes are upon Him! You will not be in that situation long but am praying you keep your eyes on Him:) I Love You!

July 26, 2011
Proverbs 20:3 “It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.( KJV) “It is an honor for a man to cease from strife and keep aloof from it, but every fool will quarrel. (AMP) “It’s a mark of good character to avert quarrels, but fools love to pick fights. (MSG) just a thought that hit me after reading today…don’t be a fool:) I Love You!

July 25, 2011
II Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” I pray He finds in you a heart for Him and He will show Himself strong in your life. I Love You:)

July 24, 2011
Romans 8:26-28 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” I hear a song on the radio that sings word of God speak and think of these verses. I am praying His word speaks to you today:) I Love You!

July 23, 2011
Psalms 18:18b-19 “…but the Lord was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.” One of my favorite ways to know Him is as our “stay.” He never changes and is our constant. He is delighted in you:) I pray that you remember that especially when you don’t feel like anyone could be:) I Love You!

July 22, 2011
II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” I also challenge you to read Romans chapters 7&8 along with this verse. I am praying that if you are doing the first things listed above being saved, humble, praying, and seeking Him then sin and wickedness will stay far from you:) I Love You!

July 21, 2011
II Chronicles 1:11-12 “And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.” I absolutely cannot imagine receiving such an answer to prayer~~remember I google google!~~and cannot help but pray for you to be bold in your prayers to ask the one who answers what is in thine heart:) I Love You!

July 20, 2011
Romans 5:3-5 “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” it isn’t an easy thing to say but with Him I am praying you will find glory and experience and patience in the trials you go through;) I Love You Much!

July 19, 2011
Romans 4:20 “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;” I am still so thrilled with the sermon pastor gave on Sunday night when each of you went forward and shook his hand promising him and the LORD you would not touch alcohol:) so I am praying you stagger not against the promises of God or the promise you made in His honor and I Love you and am so proud of you!

July 14, 2011
Yesterday I snoozed before sending y’all my verse:) it’s been a crazy week! I Chronicles 16:11 “Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.” Be sure in the unscheduledness of summer you are finding time to get your strength from Him and are continually seeking His face:) I Love You!

July 1-10
In Canada I didn’t try to send texts but will put today the verses I prayed for you over during my Bible time:) Romans 1:9 “For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;” Psalm 8:1 “O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.” Psalm 7:9 “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.” Acts 26:18 “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Psalm 5:3 “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” II Kings 22:19-20 “Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD…I also have heard thee, saith the Lord.”. II Kings 20:5 “Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.” II Kings 19:28 “Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.” I bet you can fill in the thoughts and prayers I had with each verse by now and this text can be done! A week + worth:) I Love You!

June 30, 2011
Acts 20:31 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” u Oops I sent it wo out comment! II Kings 11:4-6 “…and brought them to him into the house of the Lord, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the Lord…And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king’s house; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down.” We studied this section in my last Bible study and it has been impressed on my heart that we are not just to take care of the physical house of the Lord but the house meaning those who gather and become the house. Be mindful where He could use you to encourage, restore and pray for others:) I Love You!

June 26, 2012
II Kings 10:15-16″And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot. And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord. So they made him ride in his chariot.” Out of this entire passage I most am touched by their salutation to each other~is your heart right as mine is with thine. I pray this is an attitude we would have with each other and those close to us…be concerned for each others hearts:) I Love You!

June 25, 2011
Thought from my Sunday school lesson “it is amazing how diligent and disciplined we can be in areas of little importance.” with the verse in Acts 24:16 to back it up:”And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.” praying you keep Him as important as any other big thing in your life you make time for each day:) I Love You!!!

June 23, 2011
Acts 13:50-52″But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.” Good people get stirred up by bad people even in the night our cars were broken into and I read this today! So it is my prayer when people around you are trying to “stir” you up that you do as Paul and Barnabus and shake it off:) Joy follows:0 I Love You!

June 20 Ok something happened between June 13-20 and it made me ill…there was nothing here when I went to post my next text! However, I went to a real computer…not the touch screen iphone that probably got me into this mess and clicked on pages, screen options, and made sure I could see revisions: once i did that i reset it to the last page that had texts! Yahoo for autosave! but if revisions isn’t selected on the screen options you’d never know there were revisions! This is a note to myself:)

June 20, 2011
I Kings 22:14 “And Micaiah said, As the Lord liveth, what the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak.” What a neat covenant to make with your mouth to only speak what He tells you or would have told you. None of this back and forth trying to please the listener but just here is what I know and I know it because He speaks truth:) I am praying for you to hear him and always speak His truth:) I Love You!

June 17, 2011
I Kings 18:37 & 39 “Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.” I am praying that you guard your heart. Elijah is here on Mt Carmel calling on his Lord after those who followed Baal tried calling him. Our LORD answered and Elijah said so their hearts could be turned back again. If you guard it wisely you will never need to turn it back again! I Love You!!!

June 14, 2011
Acts 7:47-50 “But Solomon built him an house. Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things?” Know that He has made all things and there Solomon and David were putting him in a house made with hands while we get Him as born again believers in our hearts! He lives in us. He tabernacles or dwells in our heart<;;;;;;;3 I Love You!

June 13, 2011
Psalm 130:3-4"If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared." What a beautiful thought that He does not keep up with our wrongs. If He did who could stand so I am praying you will remember this love Him more for forgiveness! I Love You!

June 9, 2011
Today I am sharing a quote from Bro. White's morning meditation "Guard this judgment deeply in your heart-the God who gives an eye to see truth also gives a hand to hold it. What we have from God we cannot keep without Him. Cherish your closeness with Him or truth will not keep her intimacy with you very long. God is light, but you hear from darkness as soon as pride suggests that you turn your back on him." I am praying that you keep what you have with Him and you cherish His closeness always:) I Love You!

June 8, 2011
Acts 5:3-4&9 "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things….Then Peter said unto her (Sapphira), How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out." This is one place in His word where we see how He handles a lie. I am praying that you see even what people call little white ones are still lies and as the verse says it's unto God not men that you lie to. Speak the truth always:) I Love You So Much!

June 6, 2011
Acts 4:20 "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Peter and John after performing a miracle were told to keep quiet! They not only couldn't but wouldn't:) I am praying that you dont keep Him quiet in your life either. He loves you and wants to do great things in His plan and purpose for your life. I Love You!

June 5, 2011
2 Samuel 24:24 "And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver." David sincerely wanted to honor God and as King people wanted to honor David and give him what he needed but David would not accept anything to offer to Him of that which cost him nothing. I am praying you honor the LORD in the same way: give him your heart your time your life fully:) I Love You!

June 4, 2011
Acts 2:46 "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart," this is my verse for keeping it simple…even what we eat. Keep your diet healthy and balanced:)

June 3, 2012
Psalm 121:8 "The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."I am praying for you as you come and go that He will protect you on your way whether you are coming or going:) I Love You!

June 2,2011
John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen." A real wow verse here. Even the world cannot contain the books of things that our LORD did:) that's alot of doings and we barely even make time for what is written:) I pray you make that time! I Love you so much! I love you this big:)

June 1, 2011
John 20:29 "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." I always saw this verse as a personal comment He was speaking to me. We are blessed because we believe without having seen. So many miss out on His blessings because they lack faith to trust what can't be seen. I am praying you will continue in faith and be nit faithless but believing:)

May 31, 2011
Psalm 119:133 "Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me." & 135 "Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes." I love that after last nights family Bible time my verse today is the one we used last night. I am praying as He orders your steps in His word that His face shines so brightly on you through His word you cannot miss the message He speaks nor can those around deny you have been with the LORD:) I Love You!

May 30, 2011
Proverbs16:11 "A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work." In other words…Keep it honest:) He gives you the weights in your bag that you can handle. I am also praying Proverbs16:9 "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps." Based on the weights He gives you let Him direct your steps and you won't step in the wrong direction:) I Love You!

May 29, 2011
My Sunday thought to you inspired by Caleigh's night time prayers last night she prayed she would learn something new at church and in ss and her day would be blessed. I pray that you realize on Sundays we are setting it apart for Him. To learn about Him and how to love and serve Him. Not any other day of the week would we be able to give that much time to. He allows it and calls us to so I pray you don't see it as some routine but more a privilege and a unique way to honor Him. Pray for your Sundays to be set apart and look for Him always:)

May 28, 2011
John 17 I have been waiting and waiting for my daily reading Bible to get to this chapter. I will not quote from it but will pray for you to carve out some time to read it. It is Jesus's intercessory prayer for us. He loves us and intercedes for us. I pray it speaks to you of His love. It is one of my favorite chapters:) I Love You!

May 27, 2011
Proverbs 16:1-3 "The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." He prepares your heart and tongue and weighs your spirit when in your eyes it all seems clean and my favorite "this is have devotions confirmation" commit your works unto Him and He establishes your thoughts…aka….sit before Him with His word and your prayers and plans & He will establish you. I'm praying for you to be established:) I Love You!

May 26, 2011
John 15:9 "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love." You know how much God loves His only son who in turn loves you exactly as He sees His Father showing Him how to love. I am praying for you to know how much He loves you. He loves you so much and so do I!

May 25, 2011
John 14:13-14 & Psalm 119:33-34 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." "Teach me thy way,O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart." He wants to give you whatsoever you will ask in His name. I am asking that He gives you what the verses in Psalm ask for: to teach you His way through His word and that you'll keep them understand them with your whole heart:) I Love You!

May 24, 2011
Psalms 119:10,11&16 "With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word."!One touch and it's sent! I didn't get to add how much ch I love you and praying for you to stay close to Him by staying in Hid word:)

May 23, 2011
Proverbs 4:14-15 "Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away." I walked away with this verse on my heart after Pastor preached yesterday and it is my prayer for you this morning that when wrong presents itself to you that you will avoid it…turn from it…be a Joseph and run:) I love you!

May 22, 2011
John 12:22b…"we would see Jesus." Such a neat thing to see Him. He answers prayers and shows the answers through His word, sunday school lessons, Pastor's sermons, and circumstances. I am thankful for answered prayer as a way …I do see Jesus. May you too:)

May 21, 2011
I Samuel 30:6b & 8"but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God….And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all." David was at a low after Ziklag was burned w fire and his family taken and I love that he had to encourage himself in the LORD. That is an encouragement in and of itself. I am praying that you will too when there is no one else to turn to. You pick yourself up with His help:) especially when all around you is defeat. The LORD answers David when he called on Him. I Love You!

May 20, 2011
John 11:41-42 "Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me." After this He raised Lazarus from the dead. Jesus said He knows that His Father hears Him always but because of the people which stand by…consider yourself one of the bystander people!…He said it for us to know His Father listens and answers prayer:) I am praying for you to let Him listen to your heart. He is always there:) I Love You!

May 19, 2011
Psalm 116:1-2 "I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live." He loves to listen to you. I Love You!

May 16, 2011
Psalm 112:1-2 "Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed." Just saw in these verses a gentle confirmation of what is on our hearts as parents for you to fear Him. He will bless you when you do:) I Love You!

May 14, 2011
I Samuel 16:7 "But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." I am praying for you to remember He sees what we cannot and sometimes what we forget He can see…your heart. Guard it:) I Love You!

May 13, 2011
Psalm 109:26-27 "Help me, O Lord my God: O save me according to thy mercy: That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, Lord, hast done it." It is neat to call out to Him especially so He can use your cries to show others His might. Be sure you are acknowledging Him so He can use you in such a way:) I Love You!

May 12, 2011
I Samuel 12:23-24 "Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you." This is a parents verse! We are set on teaching you His ways and especially to Fear Him. He is Holy and worthy of all our honor:) Consider what great things He has done and does for you. I Love You!

May 11, 2011
I Samuel 10:22b "And the Lord answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff." Samuel was ready to annoint Saul as King of Israel and when he got to his family Saul could not be found! Saul knew what was about to happen and hid. I am praying that you know the LORD is with you in all that He has called you to do and asking that you find strength and confidence in Him to carry out His perfect plan for your life. I Love You!

May 10, 2011
I Samuel 9:27"…Samuel said to Saul, bid the servant pass on before us,…but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God." It does take being still before Him for Him to show you His word. So I am praying that you find time to be still today:) I Love You!

May 9, 2011
I Samuel 7:8 "And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the Lord our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines." Just so you know I feel like my calling is "ceasing not in calling out to the LORD for you" and I am praying for you everyday (even if you don't get a text!). I Love You and Love Love Love praying for you!

May 8, 2011
I Samuel 3:10, 19"And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth….19 And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground." My Mother's Day prayer for you is that like Samuel you will reply to Him when He speaks to your heart btw means you are listening for Him:) And that you will let none of His words fall to the ground. I Love You and am blessed with you in my life!

May 6, 2011
Psalm 104:1-3 "Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:" I love the images I picture of Him after reading these. He is clothed in honor, majesty, and light! He uses clouds for his chariots:) and walks on the wings of the wind…all the more confirming His ever presence. He longs for your thoughts and fellowship so I pray you get gently reminded to spend time with Him when you see these images. I Love You!

May 3, 2011
Psalm 101:2 "I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart." Back in the day I had this verse for one of my weekly verses to pray for myself. I knew I could be better in so many ways especially suffering from sheer exhaustion from having little bity kids:) I used this verse to remind me when I got crazy…and how well you know I did…that I would see this verse and be like…oh yeah…I wanted to behave myself wisely and walk perfectly before Him and my family. Good thing is without Him coming to help we could not. I am praying this verse for you:) I Love You!

Luke 24:32 "And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?" One of my favorite NT passages: the 2 disciples on the road to Emmaus and Jesus walking with them. They did not first recognize him but then their hearts burned within when He opened to them the scriptures. I am praying you get that "heart burn" (lol) when you open His word. Do not keep from it:) I Love You!

Judges 6:16 "And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man." I love Him talking here to Gideon after calling him to his surprise a mighty man of valor! I am praying for you today as you take your tests and know He will surely be with you! Of course! Surely! And may you smite that (TAKS/A&P Lab Final) test:) I Love You!

This was yesterdays: maybe I do need a place for mom! Psalm 94:19 "In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul." We like to do all the thinking! Sometimes we have so many thoughts going in our head that we cannot even think. We say "I think" but do we really? But His comforts delight my soul in the multitude of those thoughts! Let Him get in the middle of your thoughts:) Order and comfort are guaranteed! I Love You!

April 24, 2011
Ephesians 5:15 "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise," I loved hearing Pastor's illustration of his dad teaching them this as boys walking through stickers. It may be fun to run and run to get to more fun but he sure ended up stopped in his tracks and had to do damage control! I am praying that you walk circumspectly avoiding damaging sin and lifelong problems:) I Love You!

April 23, 2011
Psalm 90:12 "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." Above all this is the concept to grasp…bringing order to our days:) Set out a purpose and a plan and He will help us set our hearts to wisdom when we do. I am praying for you today to number your days and set your hearts to wisdom. I Love You!

April 22, 2011
Psalm 89:34 "My covenant will I not break, nor alter that is gone out of my lips." This verse number is our anniversary: 89 March 4th. And it is also special because of the covenant me and dad made on that day and will not break but see how much more He will not break His covenant with us. Too bad so many dissappoint Him and cave into breaking theirs. I pray you know and honor His promises and keep yours in your lifetime. I Love You!

I thought I sent this yesterday from my Precept Bible Study:)John 12:47-48 "47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." Kay Arthur's thought: whether you have time to study God's word or not it will still be your judge. Let the word of God be your counselor for it will be your judge:) I walked away from Bible study knowing I am praying that thought for you. Find time to read His word today:) I Love You!

April 17, 2011
Psalm 86:11 "Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name." I am praying for Him to teach you His way and that you will walk in His truth with your heart united to fear Him. Dad says people don't fear Him like they did when he was growing up:) respect and fear Him. I Love You!

April 16, 2011
II Kings 5 Just catching up on my precept Bible study and the story you,ve heard Pastor time and again "7 Ducks in a Muddy River" Naamans healed of leprosy. I am coming away from this passage just knowing how much He truly knows your heart. You can say and act as you will for others to observe but He knows your heart. I am praying for you to know that and to stay close to Him. I Love You!
April 15, 2011
Psalm 84:5 and 11 "5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them." "11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." I am praying that He blesses you with strength and that you trust Him as your sun and shield He will not hold back anything from you! I Love You!

Joshua 9:14 "And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD." BIG Mistake! Big! Joshua was tricked by these men who were afraid for their lives from seeing God fight for the children of Israel. But Joshua disobeyed His voice by not seeking Him first. He forgot this one time:( I am praying that you remember to put Him first in all things everyday. I Love You!

April 12, 2011
Mathew 14:27-31 "27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" I know personally I have let that "boisterous wind" frazzle me especially with the high school rezoning:) But believe me when I say that He catches us and if you give Him your concerns will bring peace to your situation. It may not be the answer you want but even then it is such peace. Look out for those winds:) I Love You!

April 11, 2011
Joshua 3:4b "for ye have not passed this way before." I am praying as Joshua taught the Israelites to stay far enough behind the ark to see where He is leading yet close enough to follow for you to do the same with your walk with Him:) And remember He is with you when you are in a new situation and have not gone this way before. Especially then count on Him! I Love You:)

April 8-9, 2011
Deuteronomy 33:12 "…the beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him…" My birthday thought is how blessed I am: first to be loved and adored by Him and second most overwhelmingly to be loved and adored and even for a day being "the beloved" by you:) Thank you for my crazy special day! I Love You!

April 7, 2011
Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." I am praying for you to have strength and courage today:) remember He is always with you! I Love You!

April 6, 2011
Deuteronomy 30:14 "But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it." And v 19 "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" I am praying that you keep God's word so close to you that it can't help but come out of your mouth and heart in all that you do. And that in doing so you are chosing life because He promises blessings when you do things His way 🙂 I Love You!

April 5, 2011
Psalm 77:1 "I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me." Oh how many things He will hear from us and not just hear but will listen! Cry out to Him..He will give ear unto you:) I Love You!

April 4, 2011
Luke 10:41-42 "And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." A perfect reminder that while it is fine to be busy and get things done we must balance it with that "one thing that is needful:" sitting at His feet. Find them today and sit before Him. I Love You!

April 2, 2011
Psalm 74:16-17 "The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou has set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter." He sets our boundaries and knows are strengths. It is beautiful to see that no matter in the day or night they both are His. I pray you give Him your days and nights. I Love You!
April 1, 2011
Psalm 73:23-26 "Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. 24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever." I pray you let Him hold your right hand, guide you with His counsel, be your desire, and be the strength of your heart, and your portion forever. I have always gotten lost in that thought that He is our portion forever:) He is all we need. I Love You!

March 31, 2011
Psalms 72:18 "Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things." Yep…He does:) He only does wonderful things! Look for what wonderful thing He has done for you today. It will make your heart smile to think on it:) I Love You!

March 30, 2011
Deuteronomy 13:3b-4 "for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him." Moses telling them do not follow after some new prophet telling or other gods or a dreamer of dreams that He "proves" you to see if He has His place in your heart. He proves you…wow…I am praying for you to be mindful of this proving and keep Him first and as dad said in devotions fear Him when you don't:) I Love You!

March 29, 2011
Deuteronomy 11:1 "1 Therefore thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway." I looked up "charge" and there are countless definitions and ways we use that word especially today. You keep His charge in just as many because as soon as you have to ask yourself, "am I keeping it?" It may be you asked because you weren't. 🙂 Keep it. Guard it. Protect it. Be mindful of it all the day long….always:) I am praying for you to be kept by Him by you keeping His charge, statutes, judgments, commandments…I Love You!

March 28, 2011
Deuteronomy 10:15-20 "15 Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day. 16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. 17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward…20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name." He chose you above all:) Soften your heart to hear Him. He is mighty. Cleave to Him. I Love You!

March 27, 2011
Deuteronomy 8:3-4 "And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. 4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years." If you ever doubted God's ability to take care of you just remember His people wandered 40 years and their clothes were never worn neither did their feet swell! I can't finish singing the little song we sing at church "God will take care of you"…I get happy tears:) I Love You!

March 26, 2011
Deuteronomy 26:26 & 32 "Go thou near, and hear all that the Lord our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the Lord our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. 32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you," I Love and pray so much in this chapter but these verses to me put the thoughts I pray most for you: that you will go near to Him, let Him speak to you, then you tell others how He spoke to you:) Doing those things will keep you from turning to the left or the right and having His blessing on your life:) I Love You!

March 25, 2011
Deuteronomy 4:9 and 29 "9Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;" My heart and prayer for you for your life…keep yourself, your soul, your eyes, your heart, your mind…pure and holy and separate for Him. Don't forget Him. And "29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." Seek Him everyday and make an impact on your generation then the next…:) I Love You!

March 24, 2011
Deuteronomy 3:26 "But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter." Moses giving the people a recap of events at the beginning of this book and it left a mark on my heart how stern our LORD can be. Moses wanted to go over with them and He said speak no more of this to me:) I'm gonna use that line! I am praying for you to know your boundaries with Him to save yourself heartache:) I Love You!

March 23, 2011
Deuteronomy 1:28- "Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven…29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them. 30 The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; 31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. 32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the Lord your God," What I see is they got discouraged even surrounded by their own kind. They got caught up comparing…a sure fire way to spin your heart into discouragement:( I am praying for you to be encouraged today. Believe and trust what you know about God based on His word and not the small voices around you that can be so persuasive. I Love You!

March 22, 2011
Luke 5:26 "And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day." After the men let down the man needing healing from the roof because they could not get to Jesus any other way and Jesus heals the man then comes this fun verse. They saw strange things! He still answers prayer. Always has. I pray you see Him strangely today:) I Love You!

March 21, 2011
Numbers 32:23b "and be sure your sin will find you out." I know you know we have prayed from your birth that when you do wrong you are caught. Not so we can evil laugh which btw I am quite fond of but so you will know His word is true and avoid doing wrong:) So as I continue to pray it and stumbled over the actual text in today's reading and thought I'd send it for real proof it is in the word:) I Love You!

March 20, 2011
Luke 4:13-15 "And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season. 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all." After Jesus fasted the devil tempted Him and who would even think the devil would even so much as try but he does. And it mentions "departed for a season" so apparently he will come again. I am praying that you get through all the seasons of him tempting you by doing what Jesus did…giving him back God's truth. Quote scripture. To quote it you must know it:) know some today:) I Love You!

March 19, 2011
Psalms 61:1-2 "1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." It is easy for our hearts to get overwhelmed but when they do go to the Rock that is higher than you. He will relieve you and strengthen your heart. I Love You!

March 18, 2011
Numbers 27:18-20 "And the Lord said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him; 19 And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight. 20 And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him…" Moses asked God to give the people he's led someone after him. I love that God said for him to put some of his honor on him. Surround yourself with people who have God's honor on them. (One reason I love Pastor Pope!) Then honor Him by putting that honor on those you love:) I Love You!

March 17, 2011
From Women of Faith devotional 2 Corinthians 9:13 "Men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." Philemon 6 "I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ." He wants us to give to others and what greater is there to give than gospel! I am praying that you keep your testimony pure and share it with others He leads you to. I Love You!

March 16, 2011
Luke 2:19 "But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." This was her thought after Jesus' birth. She pondered the events in her heart. We have all the same events recorded in His word. Take time to ponder:) I Love You!

March 15, 2011
Luke 1:74-80 " That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,75In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. 76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. 80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit…" Zacharias interceeding for John the Baptist at his birth. I was also reading in OT the story of Balaam and the donkey. Even the donkey saw Baalam was going where he shouldn't have been…curiosity sometimes leads us where we should not be. I am interceeding for you using the words of Zacharias…serve Him in holiness and righteousness all the days of your life. I Love You!

March 14, 2011
Ecclesiates 8:15 "Then I commended enjoyment, because a man has no better thing under the sun [without God] than to eat and to drink and to be joyful, for that will remain with him in his toil through the days of his life which God gives him under the sun." For Pi Day today 3.14 I remember how special having meals together always is for us. Even the stinker ones at least there is joy sharing with each other:) May you make wise choices even in eating and drinking! I Love You!

March 13, 2011
Two thoughts tonight: Numbers 20:12 KJV "And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them." Psalms 56:8 AMP "You number and record my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle–are they not in Your book?" I've always felt for Moses and Aaron dealing with those wilderness complainers and taking all they could but God said speak to the rock and Moses smote it…he did not show the children of Isreal that He was sanctified in their eyes so he could not enter the promised land. He will be obeyed:) also He cares so much He keeps our tears:) I Love You!

March 12, 2011
Numbers 17:5 "And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you." So the Israelites were complaining after God swallowed up Korah and his people in an earthquake to Moses and Aaron that they were killing the people of the LORD. He was not happy with all the complaining and I love how it says He will make them to cease from it:) He is holy and will only accept holiness back. How neat that He cared for Moses and Aaron so much that even people murmuring against them He had a way to settle. Aaron's rod budded and settled who the LORD had His hand on to use for His service. He wants us to do all things without murmuring and complaining too (Phil 2:14). It is a difficult task indeed. Oh how we love to complain:) I am praying for you and love once again how the LORD knows where we are. This was just in my daily reading for today:) He knows our hearts and loves us so much anyway! I Love You!

March 11, 2011
Proverbs 11:5-6 "The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness." To me these verses are a mirror of Proverbs 3:5-6:) Righteous get direction and delivered; wicked transgressors fall and are taken in their own naughtiness. Easy. Choose to be righteous! I am praying you will stay righteous /act in an upright, moral way…I Love You!

March 10, 2011
Hebrews 13:16 "But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." Being born into a family the 6th child of 8 this verse has always been close to my heart and always pops up to remind me to stay in touch with my family. Show them how much I care by just calling, texting, or sending a card or package. You wouldn't think it would really be a "sacrifice" but to put communicating and sharing with others first in God's eyes….He counts it one and it pleases Him:) I Love You!

March 9, 2011
Numbers 13:30-31 "And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we." So God was clearly going to give them the land to possess it and Caleb knew it and said let's go! But the other men disagreed and were sadly more convincing. Bummer:( Keep a Caleb outlook epspecially when you know it is a promise of God. Know that there will be others that want to dissuade you but stand confident like Caleb. I Love You!

March 8, 2011
Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." One passage of scripture that should ring familiar with you. I always encourage reading some of the Psalms to examine your heart before the LORD's supper. This past Sunday when Pastor applied how Macie helped her daddy prepare the elements…it gave me a new insight. Scott went to hand her the piece Pastor holds up and breaks and she had her hands held out and Pastor reinacted her very gently and very carefully walking it and putting it where her daddy told her to. The picture of the preciousness of Him:) He is precious. Keep Him precious in your life:) I Love You!

March 7, 2011
He dwells in us. He dwelt in the Tabernacle among the Israelites when Moses said this to men questioning their cleanness: "And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you." We don't have to have a "Moses" because He dwells in our hearts. We can ask Him directly and He guides us:) I love that when they didn't know the answer…they were like…let's ask God? Who are you going to before Him? Challenge yourself in all things to bring it to Him first…I am praying for you to:) I Love You!

March 6, 2011
Numbers 6:24-26 A Beautiful Intercessory Prayer tucked away in Numbers…I pray that…"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace." I Love You!

March 5, 2011
Mark 12:30 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment." I am praying you Love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. And in doing so you are keeping your heart clean, your soul fed, your mind pure, and are strengthened daily by His word:) I Love You So Much!

March 4, 2011
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." One of Dad's life verses. Today is our 22nd wedding anniversary, and I am blessed to be married to one who trusts in Him and does not lean on his own understandings. I am praying for you to acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths. Especially in a future mate:). Look what He did for me! He has the perfect one prepared for you…I Love You!

March 3, 2011
Mark 11:24-26 "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." He searches your heart as we know and not forgiving others stands out to Him. It is amazingly scary to know that He will not forgive your sins if you are holding back forgiveness. Which means sins will clutter up in there like clothes on a dorm floor (:)) and none of your prayers and petitions will He answer because he cannot see the carpet or the heart:) So do the laundry! Keep that heart clean and the list of sins short and forgiven! Can you tell I'm doing loads of laundry today and thinking Tiff is almost home for Spring Break! I Love You

March 2, 2011
Levitcus 26:6 "And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid:…" And Mark 10:43-45 "But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: 44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." One: I couldn't resist the none shall! I spooked myself when dad was out of town this week…but prayed and quoted what time I am afraid I will trust in thee. Slept soundly and thanked Him when I woke:) Two: I am praying you are like Him in that you are seeking who to minister to and not sitting back and always be ministered to. He deserved ministering done to Him but He spent His life ministering to others:) Reach out. Serve. Minister. I Love You!

March 1, 2011
Leviticus 22:32 "Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow you." In my notes hallow means to be "kept holy." Just for clarity and comparison here is the same verse but in the Amplified version "Neither shall you profane My holy name [applying it to an idol, or treating it with irreverence or contempt or as a byword]; but I will be hallowed among the Israelites. I am the Lord, Who consecrates and makes you holy…" What I notice is no changes in "I will be hallowed" because He will be hallowed:) The explanations help clarify the word "hallow" and it is my prayer that you continue to be holy and keep Him holy. Approach Him with clean hands and a pure heart. Catch yourself when using His holy name even as a by word. Does it honor Him?:) I Love You!

Leviticus 22:32 "Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow you." In my notes hallow means to be "kept holy." Mark 9:23-24 "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." We say we believe but in no time we experience unbelief like this father in the New Testament. Not only do we need to believe in Jesus but believe what He says:) Because He said! I Love You!

February 26, 2011
Mark 8:38 "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." This verse is a downer to me because it hurts to know that He had to warn people to not be ashamed of Him or His words or He would be ashamed of them. Love Him. Read His Word. Love His word. Share Him. Share His word. He will not be ashamed. I Love You!

February 25, 2011
Mark 7:24 & 37 "And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid…37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak." Yep…He cannot be hid:) Everywhere and everything whispers His name. I am praying for you to be "beyond measure astonished" in Him! Beyond measure He does great things and did the greatest thing beyond measure on that cross for you:) I Love You but He Loves You More!

Psalm 40:5 "Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." We often say …I'm thinking of you…but His thoughts of us are too many to count! I am praying that you feel His love and realize how amazing you are to Him:) There are so many He cannot even reckon or order them! I imagine like strips on a negative…He thinks of you that much they cannot be 'organized!' Know you are loved, thought of and prayed for by Him and me:) I Love You!

Psalm 39:1 "I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me." His word says to pay attention to your ways and keep your tongue and mouth in check. It is so easy to sling and say words that quench His spirit within you. I am praying that your words, thoughts, and actions are acceptable in His sight. I Love You!

Mark 5:30-31 "And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?" My thought here is of ALL the believers and really unbelievers talking to Him He hears! He knows when He is touched so don't you know He misses you when you don't reach out to touch bases with Him. I am praying for you to really develop a routine relationship with Him daily:) I Love You!

Leviticus 10:10-11 "And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; 11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses." I am praying for you to listen to those teaching you as well as what He already has set in place in your mind and heart to know what is holy and clean before Him. He places great emphasis on it…just before this verse Nadab and Abihu Aaron's sons were struck down for offering strange fire before the LORD. Keep things holy before Him. I Love You!

Phillippians 2:13 "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." From my Sunday School lesson…God's desire is that our outward actions would be a reflection of the work He is doing in our hearts. I Love You!

Mark 2:8 "8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?" In the story of men letting down one sick through the roof some scribes were questioning in their hearts and Jesus perceived it! Be sure and encouraged that He knows your heart's questions and desires. You're sharing it with Him and may not even know it:) He cares greatly for you and so do I! I Love You!

Exodus 40:34-38 "34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys." His visible love and guidance to His people. It amazes me how they had the visible presence of the LORD in the cloud and fire. He loved them and wanted to guide them such. I am praying that you know He loves you too and will guide you in your way just turn the pages of your Bible to see the cloud and fire and walk in His ways:) I Love You!
Tus 35:21 "21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments." I am praying you take note like those Moses asked to bring items for the tabernacle when your heart is stirred up and when your spirit is made willing. Be available for Him to work in your heart and spirit! Yesterday I interceded for you behind the steering wheel to Waco and back that you would be in His word and others would be able to tell from your face shining like Moses' when he was talking to Him:) I Love You!

Exodus 33:13-15 "13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee, to the end that I may find favor in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. 14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence." Moses talking to God. He asked for God to show him His ways. You can too! He will be present with you and His presence gives you rest. I love that Moses did NOT want to be carried up without God! Stand before His presence today:) I Love You!

Exodus 31:2-3…6 "See, I have called by name Bezaleel…and I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship…I have given with him Aholiab…and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;" God was telling Moses who He gave the abilities to build the tabernacle. I know by this that He gives wisdom and understanding and knowledge and am praying He pours it into your wise heart. Be wise so He has a place to pour:) I Love You!

February 9, 2011

I opened my Woman of Faith devotional to these 3 verses this morning: Ps 55:2 "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall" Luke 12:22-24 "Jesus said to his disciples, "Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about what you will wear. Life is more than food and body and clothes. Consider the ravens: they do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds," Phillipians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I am praying these verses for you today! I Love You!

February 7, 2011
Psalms 31:1-3 "In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me…therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me." I pray that you will keep your trust in Him and that as He bows his ear to you, you will bow your ear when He is speaking to you leading and guiding with His firm yet gentle hand. I Love You!

Ex. 23:20 "Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared." Ex.24:7 "And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient." He is our guide and protector! It was so important to Moses all that God told him that he stood before the people and read it to them. Stay in His ways with His words and He will bless you. I Love You!

February 5, 2011
Psalms 29:11 "The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace." I am asking Him to give you strength to get through all you are handling and bring peace to you as you are making decisions and choices in your day to day life. I Love You!

February 3, 2011
Exodus 17:1-16 The story of Moses telling Joseph to fight Amalek and he held up the rod of God with the help of Aaron and Hur. They stayed his hands. Joseph "discomfited" Amalek. I know I do! I could make a list:) let's love Him more today for shepherding us and keeping our wants close to Him that He even blesses us with some now and then! I Love You!

Hebrews 6:18-20 "So that by two utterly immutable things, the word of God and the oath of God, who cannot lie, we who are refugees from this dying world might have a powerful source of strength, and might grasp the hope that he holds out to us. This hope we hold as an utterly reliable anchor for our souls, fixed in the innermost shrine of Heaven, where Jesus has already entered on our behalf…" May you make God's promise real through your faith, hope and patience. Hebrews 11:1…6 "Now faith means we have full confidence in the things we hope for, it means being certain of things we cannot see…and it is only by faith that our minds accept as fact that the whole universe was formed by God's command–that the world which we see has come into being through what is invisible….And without faith it is impossible to please him. The man who approaches God must have faith in two things, first that God exists and secondly that God rewards those who search for him." I pray that you will always search for Him. He longs to hear from you:)

Hebrews 12:3&13jbphillips "Think constantly of him enduring all that sinful men could say against him and you will not lose your purpose or your courage….So tighten your loosing grip and steady your trembling knees. James 1:5-8 jbp "And if…any of you does not know how to meet any particular problem he has only to ask God–who gives generously to all men without making them feel guilty–and he may be quite sure the necessary wisdom will be given him. But ask in sincere faith without secret doubts. For the man who doubts is like the wave of the sea, carried forward by the wind one moment and driven back the next. That sort of man cannot hope to receive anything from the Lord, and the life of a man of divided loyalty will reveal instability at every turn." Praying for God to give you wisdom today with strong faith and for you to remember to ask Him for it when you need it. I Love You!

December 8, 2010
I didn't get much farther in James:) 1:12-15 "A man must not say when he is tempted, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, and does not himself tempt anyone. No, a man's temptation is due to the pull of his own inward desires, which greatly attract him. It is his own desires which conceive and give birth to sin." Stay close to Him through prayer and reading His word and the He will give you the desires of your heart…that clean spirit led heart:)

December 9, 2010

December 10, 2010
James 2:14- "Now what use is it,my brothers, for a man to say he 'has faith' if his actions do not correspond with it? Could that sort of faith save anyone's soul. If a fellow man or woman has no clothes to wear and nothing to eat, and one of you say,'Good luck to you I hope you'll keep warm and find enough to eat,' and yet give them nothing to meet their physical needs, what on earth is the good of that? Yet that is exactly what a bare faith without a corresponding life is like–quite dead." I pray that your faith corresponds with your walk. Stay in touch with His living word. Read it. Pray it. I Love You!

December 11, 2010

I Peter 1:14-16 "Live as obedient children before God. I Peter 2:11-12 "I beg you, as those whom I love, to live in this world as strangers and 'temporary residents,' to keep clear of the desires of your lower natures, for they are always at war with your souls. I am praying exactly this for you as you walk your walk surrounded by both believers and unbelievers that you would be an encouragement to those who believe and a strong witness for Him to those who don't:) love you so much!

December 17, 2010
I Peter 3:8-10 "To sum it up, you should all be of one mind living like brothers with true love and sympathy for each other, compassionate and humble. Never pay back a bad turn with a bad turn or an insult with another insult, but on the contrary pay back with good. For this is your calling–to do good and to inherit the goodness of God." today I can tell I am already in my right mind:) so this was yesterdays intended verse!

December 17, 2010
I Peter 3:14-16 "You need neither fear men's threats nor worry about them; simply concentrate on being completely devoted to Christ in your hearts. Be ready at anytime to give a quiet reverent answer to any man who wants a reason for the hope that you have within you. Make sure that your conscience is perfectly clear, so that if men should speak slanderously of you as rogues they may come to feel ashamed of themselves for abusing you of your good Christian behavior." I am praying that you are completely devoted to Christ in your heart above all else:)

December 18, 2010
I Peter 4:7-10 "…you should therefore be calm, self-controlled men of prayer. 2 Peter 1:5-7 "For this very reason you must do your utmost from your side, and see that your faith carries with it real goodness of life. Your goodness must be accompanied by knowledge, your knowledge by self control, your self control by the ability to endure. I'm praying you embrace each quality listed in your devotion to Him. I love you so much! Find time to spend with Him today:)
